On May 30, 2012, the NLRB Acting General Counsel (GC) released its third report in less than a year on social media cases brought before the agency. This report focuses exclusively on seven cases involving employers’ actual social media policies and whether specific provisions are lawful under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA). The seventh case discussed in the report is significant because the GC approves the employer’s entire social media policy at issue. As a result, CAAs now have a template to use when drafting or revising their own social media policies. Copy of the report can be found at this following link
