On December 21, 2011, the Kansas Association of Community Action Programs released the Kansas Report on Poverty: A Road Map to Economic Security for All Kansans. I am very impressed with the quality of their work, and I encourage everyone to read the document.
Even though the data is Kansas specific, the policy recommendations are applicable across borders. You can download a .pdf version of the report from their website: www.kacap.org/ Enjoy! Becky Gray SEK-CAP, Girard, Kansas |

Each of our state and federal legislators have received a copy of the report, and we hand delivered copies to the Governor's office. Media coverage has been good, including particular interest from the Associated Press and Public Radio. KACAP's Policy Committee will be using the report as a guide to this year's committee work. We've also forwarded copies to OCS and our national partners.
